We provide all the secondary care services normally found in a district general hospital, including emergency care, planned care, maternity care, diagnostic and therapy services. In addition we also provide specialised services for a wider population including designated cancer centre services, interventional cardiology, renal medicine, plastic surgery and level two neonatal care.
This post is for a Clinical Fellow at ST4+ level to provide care for patients for designated Consultant/ team at ward level, and receiving support/ training from both SpRs and Consultant staff. You will join the middle grade rota of 1 in 9 and cover both general paediatrics and neonates. In general paediatrics, the middle grades work on the general paediatric ward, Paediatric Assessment Unit & support the Paediatric Emergency Department, as well as being allocated outpatient clinics. Leave is not fixed, & there is an opportunity to take study leave. Our SCBU is level II unit and we look after neonates over 27 weeks gestation. For further details / informal visits contact:
