CARE HOME MANAGER (NURSING) – BUSHEY, HERTFORDSHIREHIGHLY COMPETITIVE SALARY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE PLUS UP TO 100% BONUS SCHEMEWhite Knight Recruitment are working with a leading national healthcare provider of residential and nursing homes throughout the UK. They are looking to recruit a Home Manager for their nursing home in Bushey, Hertfordshire that offers residential and nursing care for 60residents.The Service - A Grade Two listed building located in the heart of Bushey Village. At our care home, we provide a range of accommodation and services, from apartments for independent living, to the main home, which offers 24-hour nursing care, day care and respite care. Working in partnership with Third Age Living, we have a centre for rehabilitation after hip and knee surgery, too.All our Assisted Living properties are self-contained but residents have the option of taking advantage of the professional care and support services available in the main home, including meals and participation in activities, for example. Assisted Living can be tailored to your needs and preferences: we support people in preserving an independent, socially active lifestyle, with the added reassurance that care is close at hand should you need it.The Role – As Care Home General Manager you will be a role model in everything you do and represent the home professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and external contacts. You will utilise your strong creative and marketing skills to proactively promote the home in the local community, ensuring the high reputation of the home is communicated to potential residents and referrers.Our residents and their families expect great services, so you will be expected to provide hands-on support and strong leadership to a team who care passionately about the residents in their care. You will do this by inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and robust two-way communication to ensure that residents’ care and social needs are met in a person-centred way.As you will be expected to develop the home with a strong, existing team, you must be confident in presenting your vision and creative ideas for the home and support the team to build on the excellent work already done at the home.You will engage with Divisional and Regional initiatives to support growth of the business and lead your team to achieve maximum performance against commercial and financial goals. You will hold, or be prepared to attain, relevant regulatory registered manager status and ensure the home meets all regulatory and statutory requirements including health and safety and COSHH, in compliance with the appropriate Acts.Experience Required –
•Hold a Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC pin number
•Possess strong commercial acumen
•Have excellent communications skills
•Demonstrate excellent leadership
•Have a proven track record in the delivery of high quality care
•Hold a “good” or “outstanding” CQC report
