Campaign Manager / Media Manager This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Campaigns and Media Manager Compassion in World Farming is a fast-growing and influential campaigning charity with decades of experience fighting factory farming: our award-winning undercover investigations have exposed the ugly realities of factory farms; our political lobbying and campaigns have improved the living conditions for factory farmed animals across Europe; our Food Business team is working with some of the world’s biggest food companies – retailers, producers and manufacturers – to drive humane-sustainable innovation. Position: Campaigns and Media Manager Location: Godalming, Surrey Contract type: Full time, Fixed Term Contract 20 months Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 (dependant on experience) Closing Date: 19 February 2018 About the Role: Do you want to help end factory farming? Are you a creative and dynamic person able to work in a reactive manner, and to tight deadlines? Enjoy working within a team? We may have a job for you. The purpose of this role is to help end fish cruelty in aquaculture and fisheries, campaigning to improve fish welfare in Europe and beyond. We are looking for a person to lead the public-facing work of our fish welfare project, including coordinating the development of a website, short films, and campaign strategy, as well as maximising our impact by effectively managing our media communication (print, online and social media). About You: To be considered for this role you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have relevant experience in a journalistic and/or campaigning along with an interest in fish welfare. Most importantly you will have the drive and passion to work on a newly established project. No agencies please.
