CARE HOME MANAGER (NURSING) – BRAUNTON, DEVONHIGHLY COMPETITIVE SALARY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE PLUS UP TO 100% BONUS SCHEMEWhite Knight Recruitment are working with a leading national healthcare provider of residential and nursing homes throughout the UK. They are looking to recruit a Home Manager for their nursing home in Braunton, Devon that offers residential and nursing care for 60 residents.The Service - Situated on the North Devon coast with panoramic views across the Taw Estuary. The home is set in its own beautifully landscaped gardens within walking distance of the old village of Braunton and close to the glorious beaches and rugged countryside of Exmoor.Our purpose-built home provides high quality residential and 24-hour nursing care and support for older people, and for younger adults with multiple sclerosis or physical disabilities. We also offer an intense rehabilitation programme for people with a wide variety of conditions on a long- or short-term basis. All physiotherapy programmes are designed using the most recent research and treatment techniques. We have a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team of professionals including nurses, healthcare assistants, a physiotherapist, two rehabilitation assistants and a visiting GP. The team is focused on offering a holistic, patient-centred approach based on working towards identified individual goals.The Role – As Care Home General Manager you will be a role model in everything you do and represent the home professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and external contacts. You will utilise your strong creative and marketing skills to proactively promote the home in the local community, ensuring the high reputation of the home is communicated to potential residents and referrers.Our residents and their families expect great services, so you will be expected to provide hands-on support and strong leadership to a team who care passionately about the residents in their care. You will do this by inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and robust two-way communication to ensure that residents’ care and social needs are met in a person-centred way.As you will be expected to develop the home with a strong, existing team, you must be confident in presenting your vision and creative ideas for the home and support the team to build on the excellent work already done at the home.You will engage with Divisional and Regional initiatives to support growth of the business and lead your team to achieve maximum performance against commercial and financial goals. You will hold, or be prepared to attain, relevant regulatory registered manager status and ensure the home meets all regulatory and statutory requirements including health and safety and COSHH, in compliance with the appropriate Acts.Experience Required –
•Hold a Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC pin number
•Possess strong commercial acumen
•Have excellent communications skills
•Demonstrate excellent leadership
•Have a proven track record in the delivery of high quality care
•Hold a “good” or “outstanding” CQC report
