CARE HOME MANAGER (NURSING) – SWINDON, WILTSHIREHIGHLY COMPETITIVE SALARY PLUS UP TO 100% BONUS SCHEMEWhite Knight Recruitment are working with a leading national healthcare provider of residential and nursing homes throughout the UK. They are looking to recruit a Home Manager for their nursing home in Swindon, Wiltshire that offers residential and nursing care for 80 residents.The Service - We are proud to be one of the first homes to be accredited as part of our clients 10-60-06 Dementia Care programme, reflecting the enhanced quality of dementia care and improved quality of life experienced by residents here.Set in the heart of rural Wiltshire with views across landscaped grounds and our very own fishing lake, a residential care home that was awarded ‘Best Revival Project' in the Healthcare Design Awards. The home offers a homely environment that is warm and welcoming, with beautiful en-suite bedrooms, ample living areas and spacious gardens.Our nursing home provides 24-hour high quality residential and nursing care as well as personalised dementia care in our dedicated Memory Lane Communities for those individuals living with dementia. The Memory Lane Community specialises in innovative dementia care, enabling every resident to thrive in an environment designed to stimulate and enrich their lives, whilst giving families peace of mind and security. Our person-centred team are experienced in responding to the challenges that dementia presents, at whichever stage of the journey.Our team of highly-qualified and attentive staff focus on the individual needs of our residents with a tailored care plan for each person. We are passionate about providing quality care and feel we offer the best possible alternative for those who are no longer able to manage at home. We empower our residents to regain independence, choice and freedom in their lives in a safe and comfortable setting.We are also proud to have achieved 5 star dining status and our in house chefs prepare a varied menu to meet all tastes and dietary requirements.The Role – As Care Home General Manager you will be a role model in everything you do and represent the home professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and external contacts. You will utilise your strong creative and marketing skills to proactively promote the home in the local community, ensuring the high reputation of the home is communicated to potential residents and referrers.Our residents and their families expect great services, so you will be expected to provide hands-on support and strong leadership to a team who care passionately about the residents in their care. You will do this by inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and robust two-way communication to ensure that residents’ care and social needs are met in a person-centred way.As you will be expected to develop the home with a strong, existing team, you must be confident in presenting your vision and creative ideas for the home and support the team to build on the excellent work already done at the home.You will engage with Divisional and Regional initiatives to support growth of the business and lead your team to achieve maximum performance against commercial and financial goals. You will hold, or be prepared to attain, relevant regulatory registered manager status and ensure the home meets all regulatory and statutory requirements including health and safety and COSHH, in compliance with the appropriate Acts.Experience Required –
•Hold a Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC pin number
•Possess strong commercial acumen
•Have excellent communications skills
•Demonstrate excellent leadership
•Have a proven track record in the delivery of high quality care
•Hold a “good” or “outstanding” CQC report
