Staff Nurse - RGN or RMN - Outstanding homeResidential, dementia care and nursing home between Holcombe and Dawlish, DevonUp to £16 per hourInterviewing now! We are looking for a staff nurse to join an outstanding CQC rated home in Devon on a full time basis. The Job role has a salary of £26,208 - £29,952 and is a full time job with a 36 hour week in 12 hour shifts. It will involve day and night working on rotation or for covering purposes - working patterns to be discuss at interview.The home is a residential, dementia care and nursing home, providing support for a variety of individual needs and specialist conditions, including short stays for respite, holiday and post-operative care.Accountability and Professional behavioursThe Nurse will set high standards of professional practice in line with the NMC guidelines and create a caring environment conducive to the individual physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual need of each Resident.The Nurse will be responsible for, and write within correct time frames within the correct computerised format within the Home, comprehensive and appropriate Care/Support Plans/ Carer Plans catering for the emotional, psychological, spiritual, physical and material needs of each individual involved and to review these monthly or if care Needs change, and to ensure that they fully understand the importance of this.The Nurse is to accept responsibility in a professional manner and act in a professional way according to her professional accountability.The Nurse must be forward thinking, anticipating events happening at all times as much as possibleThe Nurse is to be fully aware of The Home Policies and Procedures and to adhere to them at all times and to sign the document to confirm understanding on a regular basis.The Nurse must ensure that all responsibilities have been carried out prior to ending a shift of work and that issues have been clearly logged on the computer and relevant documentationThe Nurse is to be fully aware of the standards and regulations laid down by the CQCThe Nurse will follow the direction of the Manager and give full support to her at all times.The Nurse will be expected to liaise with senior nurses/Managers and other health professionals on a daily basisThe nurse must know how to access up to date information regarding the role, and keeping themselves up to date and the importance of undertaking training as required.The Nurse must understand the importance of Reflective Practice, and continually improve the service they provide through this means and be able to discuss their revalidation folder upkeep with key senior nurses within the CompanyThe Nurse is required to take responsibility (individually or jointly with the Manager of the Home) to secure, sustain and promote the reputation of the Home for the benefit of the Residents.The Nurse must understand their responsibilities regarding their own personal developmentThe Nurse must value others and team spirit by recognising and valuing the individuality of all team members.The Nurse will demonstrate personal strengths and effectiveness by displaying appropriate behaviour, showing an awareness of their own capabilities and areas for improvement, displaying flexibility and adaptability and initiating and participating in change-management processes If you are looking for a new nursing position look no further, we would love to hear from you so please apply now or call Jade on 02392852323.
