Manager - Adult Mental Health - Manchester - 52000The position is to work within an Independent Hospital owned by an award winning complex needs service provider. You will responsible for the day to day running of the hospital and be integral to the shaping of the hospitals successes moving forwards. Duties of the Hospital Manager: By inspiring your whole team to 'be the best they can be', you will ensure your team enable the residents to lead a valued, fulfilling life and to maximize the potential capacity of all residents, intellectually, emotionally and socially. You'll ensure adherence to the highest standards, develop new initiatives in care practices and overall delivery of a quality service. This is a Female 18-65, locked, PD, Rehab service. Am I the right person for this role? To be right for this role, you'll need to have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of Adult Mental Health including latest best practice in PD. You'll also need an active NMC Pin along with the high level of clinical expertise necessary to lead and develop a strong clinical team. Ultimately, as well as your in-depth knowledge of person-centred care, CQC care practices and Quality Assurance processes, you also have a strong commitment to making the lives of those in your care better.Key ResponsibilitiesDay to day management of HospitalAct as advisor regarding clinical issues and implementation of guidelines and standards, working closely with management and working groups as necessaryPromote and support Gold StandardsTo have consistent approach to development of the role of the nurse in the nursing homeTo work with Head of Nursing to review service deliveryTo work with nurses and multidisciplinary teams to implement new developmentsEnsure training and education provided meets the needs of nurses and reflects local and national objectivesParticipate in supervisions, personal development plansFacilitate regular meetings with nurses to inform and update them on clinical and quality issuesTo understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements which are relevant such as Health & Safety, COSHH, HACCP, Safeguarding, Mental capacity and all aspects of the Care Standards Act and have a clear understanding of Infection Prevention and Control policies, procedures and measures to maintain a safe environment throughout the home.Liaise with QCQ and Social Services as necessaryBe actively involved in personal development and maintain a professional profile in accordance with NMC guidelinesTo apply or to discuss in more detail please apply or call Martin from Major Healthcare on 0 - 151 - 252 - 0010
