Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a Senior Payroll Officer for a business based in Sheffield.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this will be a very hands on role where you will deputise for the Payroll Manager.

Key Focus Of The Role:

To ensure that the company payrolls are all processed accurately and meet all deadlines
To assist in the implementation of new systems and procedures
To provide financial information, payroll and benefits administration for the company
To assist the Payroll Manager and to provide cover as necessary in their absence
To support the Payroll Administrators in their daily duties and to help deliver their training and development

Main responsibilities:
Processing all starters and leavers and contract variations
Manage company sickness records
Input payroll data onto the system
Maintain the HR database
Respond to all payroll queries related to PAYE and NIC
Report to HMRC on a monthly basis through full payment submission and employer payment summary
Payroll reconciliations
Year End tasks - P11d submission, P60 distribution, etc
Month-end reporting

To be successful in your application for this role you need to be able to demonstrate a successful track record in payroll. You could either be already working in a senior payroll capacity or ready for the step up.
