During the initial phase (12-18 months) it is a cross-over between a product manager and a salesperson. The Sales Manager reports to the VP Sales [EU and Rest of World]. However, he/she will cooperate with all Sales Managers. The goal is to position their software portal into the market. This means to find the right feature set for a dedicated market segment with appropriate pricing. He will be supported by his sales colleagues, application engineers and product managers. Requirements for this position are: Experience in Project management Product manager capabilities Sales Management Experience [subject matter] in Experience in the field of whole slide imaging (Bright-field and Fluorescence) and workflows using slide scanning systems. Existing contacts with companies in Pharma/ Bioscience, specifically research and development and research institutes at university hospitals. Overview of the current digital slide scanner market and positioning of the current systems. A good understanding of the whole workflows in the field of imaging in microscopy and whole slide imaging in Pharma/ Bioscience.
