The prisons aim is to establish links in the community and support our prisoners to re-integrate into a life outside of a prison estate and to reduce re-offending behavior. Responsible To Primary Care Team Leader About the role: As a Staff Nurse within primary care, you can expect to be involved in everything from clinical triage to the evaluation and development of patient care and standards. You’ll carry out – and potentially develop – nurse-led clinics, reviewing patient histories, undertaking relevant examinations and tests, organising any necessary treatment and referring patients to other healthcare professionals when you need to. Across everything you do, you’ll maintain accurate records and provide the kind of helpful, empathetic support that will make every patient feel at ease. Additional Information There are opportunities for both full time or part-time roles The full time hours are 37.5 hours per week and part time is negotiable. The salary for this role is up to £29,000 per annum (pro rota) Shifts for Nurses are: Monday 0730-2000 Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 0730-1730 Thursday 0730-2000 Saturday and Sunday 0730-1700 (working alternate weekends) Please note that this role is subject to Care UK Terms & Conditions and offers of employment are subject to satisfactory receipt of references, enhanced DBS check and prison vetting.
