Theatre Scrub PractitionerFull TimeEssexSalary up to £35,000Our client is actively looking for a Scrub Practitioner to join their multidiscplinary theatre team in the hospital based in Essex. They are focused on providing the best possible, personalised care to the people of Essex. Applicants must have excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of the multidisciplinary team.Registered General Nurse / Registered ODPExcellent clinical skillsEvidence of ongoing professional developmentGood communication and interpersonal skillsSurgical and aseptic technique principlesFamiliar with the concept of clinical governance and its componentsKnowledge of decontamination principles compliant with HTM 2030/2010Experience in a mixed speciality theatre in more than one areaCommitted to excellencePatient focused.Mentorship / ILS desirable but not essential.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Scrub Nurse you will actively participate in and maintain the highest standard of care and safety for patients, visitors and staff in the operating theatre suite and PACU.
