Our outstanding client with a nearly perfect reputation with the very highest standards of care is looking for a Home Manager required for Nursing with care for the old age and dementia.
This is a new fantastic home that is opening in March 2012 with amazing facilities and features with a much modernised touch providing an excellent service for the residents.

A strong candidate is needed to take this new home as Manager. Experience within a similar role is essential, as a strong leader whom is assertive is needed to succeed in this role. The challenge is to have a full staff, occupancy targets and to maintain admissions on a regular basis which will require constant marketing to maintain acceptable levels with a personalised approach to the unique needs of every resident who has chosen to make our client home heir home.
Location – Kent - Bexleyheath - 60 to 70 Beds with a very attractive salary and package 45K to 55K and also open to negotiation – interviewing ASAP. Candidate to start employment ideally in January - Febuary

You will be responsible to take overall responsibility for the smooth running of the nursing home and the general well being of Clients and Staff Members. To ensure that all Company policies and procedures, and all legal requirements are adhered to within the defined timescales.

Previous management experience and preferably hold the Registered Managers Award or equivalent care management qualification.


Preferred candidate RMN, RNLD OR RGN Nurse Home Manager – It’s essential you have commissioning, troubleshooting, marketing and home management experience to be considered.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Through continuous assessment and supervision ensure all Staff Members maintain high standards, and contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the home
2.Assess social needs of prospective Clients in a Nursing Care setting, and subsequently monitor the planning and on-going evaluation of care.
3.Monitor Care Plan documentation & undertake weekly review to ensure best practice.
4.Undertake general nursing & personal care as appropriate to Clients' needs.
5.Liaise with the Activities Co-ordinator, Clients, Relatives and other Staff Members in the development of activities for Clients, which will enhance their quality of life.
6. Maintain the Marketing of the home and have a great understanding of the community with a strong engagement with the PCT ect. To lead the team, occupancy plus marketing the home and a hands on management approach is essential.
