Fantastic opportunity to join a well established and growing business based in Byfleet. However the role will require regular travel in and around London and the South East

Key Responsibilities:

Working closely with senior management and the group's private equity owner. Key responsibilities will include:

* Analysis of business performance to support decision making:

* Work with the group's business units to develop and embed effective KPI reporting
* Produce reports and analysis to identify performance issues and areas of improvement
* Improve data collation systems and processes to ensure reporting is efficient and accurate
* Prepare other adhoc analysis and presentations

* Production of the group's budgets and business plans:

* Develop and maintain the group's medium term business plan model
* Work with business units to produce detailed, branch level budgets on a quarterly basis
* Develop business plan models for acquisition opportunities and other initiatives

* Maintain and develop the group's PlanningAnalytics system (TM1):

* Ensure data held in the system is up to date and accurate
* Maintain data feeds and identify scope to incorporate new data and automate data capture
* Produce reports for use by the business

Key Attributes & Skills:

* Analytical and financially literate
* Strong financial modelling skills, with experience of producing budgets and forecasts
* Aptitude for understanding commercial and market drivers
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships within the business
* Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills, both written and verbal
* Outstanding Excel and powerpoint skills (experience with TM1, VBA macros and SQL preferred)
* A well organised, resourceful, self-starter, capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines
* Qualified accountant or looking to study for a professional accounting qualification
