My client is a fast-growing company working across Europe and the USA to provide support to patients at the point of care. They are market leaders in optimising patient health and compliance. Within the company they are passionate about helping patients understand their medicines better and thereby live healthier, longer lives. Working with tens of thousands of pharmacists and physicians across Europe and the USA, they support millions of patients every year via point of dispensing and point of prescribing clinical messaging. In a stage of rapid expansion, they are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst to join the vibrant team. The Role Reporting to the Head of Analytics with a broad remit, high levels of responsibility and autonomy, the main purpose of the role will be to analyse data from large datasets and produce bespoke reports. There will be an opportunity to be innovative in finding new ways to source and use data. Knowledge, skills and behaviours Experienced in data analysis techniques and able to demonstrate projects in which these were used; Excellent numeric skills with an eye for detail and accuracy; Data manipulation and database querying skills; Ability to handle complex issues and provide innovative solutions; Good interpersonal skills as well as analytical skills; Strong oral and written communication. The Person Highly numerate with a strong technical knowledge and experience of applying analytical and modelling techniques to provide bespoke analysis and insights; Qualification in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or other numerate science is highly desirable; Strong experience in MySQL and MS Excel; Experience of handling large datasets; Experience of analytics packages, including: Programming in R, Python & Perl; Experience in applying analytical techniques to solve complex problems such as predictive forecasting. The following would be an advantage: Previous experience in healthcare arena; Visually creative with hands on experience using Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI and Spotfire; Interest in machine learning; Interest in publishing learnings and insights in peer-reviewed journals.
