Informatics Project Manager Safety Informatics (FPPD) Hiring Manager: Derek Deheer-Graham Location: Welwyn The Safety Informatics team that supports the global Safety Risk Management business in PD, is looking for a highly skilled Informatics Project Manager with Pharma/PV/Drug Safety domain experience. We are looking for an individual with strong customer focus, experience in working in global, multi-cultural environments, with a structured working approach, and excellent communication and presentation skills. Your key responsibilities are to: Lead projects and project teams according to the Project Management standards and overall Roche standards Ensure timely, high quality project delivery on budget to achieve the project’s objectives, business needs and benefits Prepare and maintain project plans (activities, schedules), and provide regular project status reports Track project progress with respect to schedule, budget, and demonstrated project benefits. Recognize out of line situations and take measures to bring project back on track Resolve scope, schedule, resource and financial conflicts Deliver complex solutions supporting a variety of business customers and business requirements Deliver GxP solutions supporting a variety of business customers and business requirements Communicate with all stakeholders, management and project team as defined in the project communication plan Further responsibilities are: Building a strong team and working closely with the individual project team members Facilitating meetings with IT and Business Strong focus on scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management Provide some technical and business leadership where/when needed to achieve the vision and results on their given project Ensuring adherence to applicable policies and standard governing project delivery, CSV, validation and regulatory standards Who you are You’re someone who wants to influence your own development. Where a job title is not considered the final definition of who you are, but the starting point.For this position, you bring the following qualifications: Relevant Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, MIS, Life Sciences, or equivalent Comprehensive level (5-9 years) of experience in Informatics project management; having managed medium/large size global/regional projects in multicultural environments Experience within the pharmaceutical industry or in the Pharmacovigilance domain is a huge advantage Ability to recognize and react to challenging situations with a sense of urgency and problem ownership/accountability Experience of managing senior, global stakeholders Fluent English skills (written and spoken) Flexibility to travel for up to 20% of time including outside of home country Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required You are an outgoing, open minded and organized individual Who we are Our UK Pharmaceutical head office is situated in Welwyn garden City, Hertfordshire, with beautiful country side surrounding the area.
