Do you want to help us as we shape the future of this great organization?Job Description SummaryWe have an opportunity for a Technical Pharmaceutical Trainer to join our Manufacturing Fermentation and Purification teams within the Manufacturing department. This is a permanent position based at our Slough facility.As a Technical Pharmaceutical Trainer you will be part of a team: providing training in cGMP procedures to staff to enable them to become effective contributors to the Manufacturing department.Key Responsibilities:Conduct technical training on mammalian cell culture including the use of bioreactors, chromatography steps, filtration and aseptic proceduresConduct practical technical training sessions within a manufacturing environment with due regard to cGMP requirements Carry out regular technical assessments to qualify staff in critical cGMP proceduresCo-ordinate the execution of training programs in consultation with the area managerEnsure staff training documentation is completed in compliance with cGMPExecute and further develop new starter technical training program in consultation with the area managersAppraise area managers of the performance of staff including new startersMonitor the effectiveness of trainingIdentify improvements to the training program and implement continuous improvement activitiesPromote understanding by providing staff with background knowledge of the methods used in manufacturingInterested?What we need you to have:Experience of training in a Manufacturing environment with a focus on mammalian cell culture and/or processingPractical Manufacturing experience within a cGMP environmentExcellent coaching and communication skillsExcellent presentation skillsStrong interpersonal skillsWhat would be nice to have:Bachelor Degree in Biotechnology or related fieldLonza.
