As Regulatory Manager responsible for Brands regulatory compliance you will drive compliance of all cosmetic products in Global Consumer Brands in line with policies, brand guidelines and the regulatory requirements in markets.Your Responsibilities• Define and manage technical standards to ensure regulatory product compliance across all brands and markets• Lead a team of regulatory officers, develop capability and develop people within your team• Ensure that brands’ specific regulatory guidelines are implemented across the products range to ensure consistency• Work collaboratively with every brand team to define and implement the best regulatory approach to new regulatory requirements or regulatory challenges• Ensure that brand teams are engaged and aware of regulatory threats and opportunities for their products• Set up processes to ensure that markets regulatory intelligence is cascaded into NPD and PLM. Ensure clear communication with brands on business impact• Drive the regulatory compliance mindset across Global consumer brands and provide relevant training and advice as required to new brand teams and/or new regulatory team members• Participate at relevant trade association meetings on matters related to products, influencing as appropriate • Develop strong partnerships with QESD, Safety and Technical teams to develop efficient procedures for formula screening. Ensure the tools developed are fully robust and update with all current information• Provide regulatory expertise onto the horizon scanning process to capture relevant changes for the Product Life Cycle Management Program. Issue regulatory recommendations to the business• Assess the regulatory compliance of new brands and innovation projects and be a key player to ensure new brand’s integration within Our Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a global cosmetics company• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines within the cosmetic industry, preferably with a working knowledge of key regulatory frameworks, EU and USA• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds to achieve results• Experience in managing complex projects with multiple tasks whilst shifting priorities• Assertive, strong communications and active team player• Good judgement and problem solving ability & capable of understanding the impact of decision making on and its customers.• Good project management skills Key words / key word: regulatory affairs , cosmetics , regulatory , reg affairs , cosmetics , ra , midlands , nottinghamshire , leicestershire
