This role's aim is to provide support to the design teams to ensure that new products meet safety, EMC, medical and other international regulatory requirements specific to MS products Responsibilities: Keep abreast of changes to international regulatory requirements that may affect Waters MS products. Ensure new Waters MS products comply with international regulations, and review existing products to ensure continued compliance. Advise design/development engineers on best practice to ensure products pass certification tests promptly. Chair safety reviews and other regulatory reviews to ensure consistency between projects. Manage third-party test houses and certification bodies to ensure prompt completion of testing projects. Manage & conduct internal pre-compliance testing. Qualifications: Degree in engineering or science, or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience Proven effective experience in development of high-technology products. Good understanding of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. LVD, EMC, IVD, NRTL, FCC, ROHS, WEEE) and standards (e.g. 61010, 61326). Excellent communication, analysis and decision-making skills.
