Renal Therapy Support - Field based
Lucy Stendall is recruiting for a Renal Therapy Support to join a global leader in the healthcare industry, working field based on a permanent basis. The role will primarily cover, Wales, Gloucester and Oxford but national travel may also be required at times to assist with wider organisational goals. The main purpose of the role will be:- Promoting the company as a provider of renal replacement therapies across whole patient pathway- Promoting the preferred patient pathway to healthcare professionals using up to date evidence for the right therapy in the right place at the right time- Demonstrating and training customers about Renal therapies, products and services effectively and constructively through an evidence based approach- Keeping customers updated regarding developments in product and/or clinical application to optimise clinical outcomes- Implement identified therapy and product marketing campaigns/activities- Supporting the company's customers to evaluate and use their products and services- Working as part of the Regional Business Team to identify opportunities for business growth; applying regional resources appropriately- Providing educational support to customers through formal study days and teaching packages in line with Medical Affairs and the therapy and clinical development teams- Facilitate peer to peer networking opportunities across the region for renal unit staff, to encourage benchmarking against best demonstrated evidence based practice- Contacting the full range of customers and other external stakeholders (e.g. clinical staff & technical personnel) on a regular and frequent basis- Maintaining up to date customer records though effective and timely use of FAST- Seeking, forwarding and utilising timely and accurate market intelligence/information that assists in development of the strategic plan- Developing and maintaining excellent personal knowledge of the therapy environment, products and their applications and ensure product/renal knowledge remains current and evidence based- Attend exhibitions/conferences in order to network, update clinical knowledge and to represent the company- Make time to read journals and relevant clinical papers- Work closely with the Marketing Team, therapy and clinical development team and Medical Affairs to identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders in all therapy areas both regionally and nationally- Liaising and communicating with other departments/business units to achieve Company objectives- Support Internal Training initiatives as subject matter experts to drive clinical excellence amongst the renal sales team depending of specific area of specialism- Ensuring adherence to relevant Company protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, ABPI Code of Practice and Nursing & Midwifery Council Code of ConductIn order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:- Experience of teaching and educational processes required- Bachelor's science degree, Nursing degree or equivalent required- Clinical experience in Nephrology an advantage- Commercial experience is desirable- ABPI qualification; or ability to study towards this within 12 months of being in the role- Strong results orientation and ability to deliver on deadlines- Customer relationship building- Confident and clinically credible- Project management- Ability to teach others- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Commercial awareness and business acumenPlease note that your CV should show exact dates of employment (month and year) and any gaps of a month or more should be explained.CK Group is an Equal Opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all who meet our selection criteria.If you do not hear back from us within 5 working days of your application for this role, it means that on this occasion you have not been shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment campaign.
