Insurance Broker technician Job, City, Salary up to £25,000 for an established Lloyd's Broker

Your new company
Your new job as an Insurance Technician will be working for an independent, young and dynamic Lloyd's Broker. Your new Brokers specialise in cross class Aviation, Marine and Non Marine Insurance placements/ business placed into Lloyd's of London and London Company markets. They pride themselves on their established relationships throughout the Lloyd's and Company markers and offer tailored solutions for UK and International Clients. Due to substantial growth within the technical division, a position for an all-encompassing Insurance broking technician business has arisen.

Your new role
Your new job working as an all-encompassing Insurance Technician means you will be responsible for the processing of various technical documentation to include; MRC Slips, Endorsements, Credit and Debit notes. Your main duties will be to process premiums to Xchanging so will need to be competent in working with the IMR, LPANs, signings, etc. You will be confident in processing bureaux submissions and be able to address all queries regarding Xchanging. You will be knowledgeable on MRC Slips and be happy to build on your technical skill set. Daily duties will include; working on complex in-house computer systems and be able to successfully monitor payments. You will be encouraged to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, supporting them with all technical issues and queries. Producing Db /Cr notes and monitoring payments etc

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a technical role, ideally processing cross-class Non Marine, Marine and Aviation risks at a Lloyd's Broker will contribute to your success. You will be technically astute, highly literate and numerate and preferably be have started some professional qualifications. Your previous experience in a similar insurance processing role, processing bureau submissions and managing data entry will demonstrate your ability to priorities workloads and ability communicate well within a team. Your excellent planning, time management and organisation skills alongside your drive and motivation will allow you to adapt well into a diverse and growing team
