Business Solution Manager
Objective: As Business Solution Manager you bring strong knowledge of database solutions, and strive to develop in-depth understanding of the Clinical Coding Business Process and supporting IT Systems in order to act as bridge between the business and IT organizations. You drive the project portfolio from idea creation to business case development, to requirements elicitation, implementation and business benefit realization. You translate business strategy into actionable IT roadmap and consult business customers on IT solutions that have the potential of addressing business challenges. You are an outgoing and open-minded individual, skilled at communicating with and influencing your customers, co-workers and partners in a global environment. Your key responsibilities are: Act as an interface between business and IT functions and as an initial point of contact for business to initiate project proposals and translate business needs into user requirements (URS), such that the final solution meets the URS and overall customer needs. Translate business strategy into an Informatics actionable plan, which delivers value to the business. Evaluate feasibility of potential solutions by driving the RFP process, lead project scoping phase, prepare the project charter and other mandatory deliverables and develop and maintain the project business case. Serve as subject matter expert for databases and applications including, but not limited to, Oracle Fusion, Oracle Forms, and all in-house systems throughout their development, implementation and maintenance. Provide business process support by understanding existing business processes, and offering advice, implementation of changes or reconfiguration to meet business objectives for the systems in area of responsibility. Where a job title is not considered the final definition of who you are, but the starting point.For this position, you bring the following qualifications: Proven Business Analysis track record, preferably gained in the Pharma and/or IT Sector with appropriate BA certification from the IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) or equivalent organization Ability to write and document functional business processes, project documentation such as business case, project charter, URS etc. Demonstrated understanding of the administration, development, implementation, monitoring and support of databases including, but not required skills in Oracle SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL, schemas, Oracle Forms (or other equivalent), Oracle Clinical, Oracle Middleware Framework (i.e. Weblogic) and familiarity with various medical dictionaries an asset (ie. WHO DD, MedDRA and Snomed). Preferred but not required Oracle TMS (Thesaurus Management System) experience Flexibility to travel (up to 20%) Who we are Our UK Pharmaceutical head office is situated in Welwyn garden City, Hertfordshire, with beautiful country side surrounding the area.
