Are you a Pharmaceutical Sales Manager with previous Line Management responsibility? Are you a leader who coaches their team? Are you looking for a job covering a National area in the Pharmaceutical industry? Zest Scientific is partnered with an influential Ophthalmic Pharmaceutical company who are looking for a National Sales manager to develop and oversee their Eye Health team.They key to the success of the candidate for this position will lie in their ability to demonstrate a background in leading sales teams to success, alongside a solid understanding of the sales environment within the Medical sphere. Ideally with an ophthalmology background, the successful applicant with engage KOLs in the field, manage their sales team of 12, develop business plans for the future, and drive the company forward in a period of growth.The Candidate: * Educated to degree level or equivalent * ABPI qualification required * High level of clinical knowledge with an ability to present clinical data * Awareness of NHS policies and structure * Experience managing a sales team in a Medical environment (Ophthalmology preferred but other Pharma sales experience considered) * Past coaching and in field sales training experience (learning interventions etc.) * An excellent track record in KOL engagement * A great sales record, demonstrating positive results and key sales figures * Familiarity with a range of sales mediums: 1-2-1, phone, email, events etc. * A full, clean UK licence (this role is field based across the UK and will require extensive travel)The role: * Provide leadership for a team of 12 covering Eye Health in the Ophthalmological sphere * Deliver sales coaching and learning interventions for members of your team * Outline milestones for sales representatives, setting targets and objectives * Ensure that your team is equipped with the Medical knowledge needed for their success * Work with Business Unit Managers to devise 3 year business plans * Develop and instigate strong KOL relationships with the company * Oversee budgets and act according to the scope of works * Set incentive schemes and cycle the priorities of the team to match * Organise the plans for conferences and exhibitions, manage the promotional budget for eventsThe Company: * A well respected and leading Ophthalmic pharmaceutical company * A leader in Eye Health and Ophthalmologic care * Well established with over 10 years’ experience in the field * An expanding company with a great track record and a positive looking futureThe Salary: * In order to secure the services of the best talent in the sector, our client is willing to be negotiable on package.
