SonographerFull Time£41000-£50000Our Client is one of the UK's leading healthcare providers and has a long and strong track record in modern and efficient healthcare services when and where they are needed.They are actively recruiting for a Sonographer - working on General and MSK at various sites in our London Area.What does being a Sonographer for our client involve?To undertake ultrasound procedures efficiently and effectively within the private sector; adhering to best practice of ultrasound technique. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and technical standard of work, complying with relevant Codes of Practice.To undertake ultrasound examinations daily of the following areas:Carotid arteries, liver, gallbladder, biliary tree, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, uterus, ovaries, urinary bladder, prostateWhat skills and experience will you need to apply?Experience working with ultrasound equipment in a clinical environment scanning the following areas:Carotid arteries, liver, gallbladder, biliary tree, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, uterus, ovaries, urinary bladder, prostatePGD in ultrasound or equivalent (i.e MBBS, DMRD) with previous experience in ultrasoundMember of an appropriate professional body and to hold a valid registrationPrevious skilled use of ultrasound equipmentSafety awareness skills utilizing ultrasound equipmentProfessional and cooperative attitude towards clients, customers and colleaguesOur client can offer you the opportunity to do something you love, with the right support to access the roles you want, through clear career paths and best-in-class training and development.
