Their services have supported thousands of people to make positive changes and build productive lives with a job, family, friends and a sense of community.The RoleWorking within a Health and Wellbeing Service you will contribute to the delivery of various Health and Wellbeing groups and programmes for clients.The post demands well developed verbal skills and interpersonal group work facilitation skills to stimulate groups and clients, relating positively and empathetically.The post holder will provide group session interventions for clients with health and substance related issues and it’s important that as a Health and Wellbeing Practitioner you will utilise your specialist facilitation group work skills, knowledge and experience, taking a holistic approach and working closely with the team leader, to help their clients to better manage their physical and/or mental health and wellbeing through the services they provide. The role is vital in improving the links between the Health and Wellbeing service and the service users within the prison.To be successful in this role you will need to have a Level 3 in Counselling and a thorough understanding of CBT and be suitably qualified to deliver a therapeutic intervention.Our client will consider applications from candidates with a Nursing and/or Criminal Justice background and applications from candidates who are themselves in recovery will be welcomed.They offer an excellent benefits package including work-related clinical supervision allowance, Simply Health coverage, competitive annual leave entitlements and a contributory pension scheme.
