QA Automation Test Analyst
Well established and respected company in the leisure/hospitality sector located not far from the colne and skipton areas, is recruiting a QA Automation Test Analyst to define, construct, maintain and execute automated test cases for all major software platforms prior to release to UAT and Production.
As a QA Automation Test Analyst the role will include to:
  • develop and maintain automated test plans and test scripts for all major software platforms to validate functional quality and to expedite regression testing, applying the latest techniques in test automation.
  • Refine and continually evolve automated test plans to meet changes in the business and to ensure correct and appropriate test coverage, depth and sampling
  • Advise project managers, business analysts and subject matter experts on the implications of testing during the requirement gathering and specification phases of individual projects and release packets. Take an active role in cross-departmental projects when needed.
  • Maintain the current library of automated test scripts and ensure effective QA code reuse where applicable.
  • Provide the Test Lead with accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies.
  • Ensure all test specifications, scripts and functions are consistently documented, easily accessible, reusable and compatible.
  • Schedule, monitor, record and track automated test suites in line with company processes using the designated tools.
  • Perform manual testing where appropriate.
As a QA Automation Test Analyst your skills and experience will include:

ISTQB/ISEB CertifiedExperience in working with automated test planning and execution tools such as Quick Test Pro and SeleniumKnowledge of C#Experience of manual testing techniques and methodologiesDemonstrable experience testing commercially used websites and integrated platformsKnowledge and experience of using integrated application lifecycle and management tools e.g. TFSUnderstanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) specifically Agile methodologies.On offer is a basic up to 30k-40k, 5% bonus, and a range of benefits.
