Sewell Wallis Public and Third Sector are currently recruiting for a full time, temporary position for a Sales Ledger Clerk on behalf of a successful, well-established charity based in Sheffield.

The position is a great opportunity for an individual who is comfortable with the processes of Audit and control of purchase invoices.

Daily responsibilities will include:-

- Production of timely and accurate statement reconciliations.
- Sales Ledger.
- Responsible for invoices and queries.
- Preparing supplier payments.
- Monitor/reduce unallocated cash on the ledger and liaise with Accounts Payable.
- Posting payments/cash to supplier accounts.
- Working closely with the suppliers to ensure ledgers are up to date and any issues are dealt with immediately i.e. credit limit or invoice issues etc.
- Dealing with both supplier and internal queries.
- Sending out and chasing debit notes and returns.
- Assisting in the resolution of invoice queries.
- Month end reports.

To be successful you will need great organisational and communication skills and have experience working in a similar role and be immediately available.
