Full Stack Developer
Established and well respected client in the leisure and travel industry, located not far from Colne and skipton areas, is recruiting a Full Stack Developer To develop across the full stack of Microsoft technologies spanning the full breadth of the estate including websites, web services and the database layer. To work proactively within the Web Development Team on building and maintaining all artefacts ensuring adherence to company coding standards and industry best practice.
As a Full Stack Developer you should demonstrate good experience working in a .NET development environment using C# and working with Microsoft web technologies including ASP.NET and MVC.

As a Full Stack Developer your role will involve:Develop software solutions in C# following coding standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processesTo develop across through the full stack of Microsoft Technologies and across the full breadth of the estateCreates and executes unit testsManages own work through the development processUndertakes show and tell sessions with business usersCreates Technical Specifications (Low level design) for new development work that could be undertaken by themselves, onshore team members of offshore team members.Works with offshore team members in a collaborative and supported way.Collaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions.Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques.Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems.Serve as a mentor to less experienced software engineers Provide estimates for new development tasks, evaluate correct technology choices, offer suggestions to improve processes, and provide comments on design aspects.Provides pro-active progress updates, participates in team huddles and highlights any issues, risks or impedimentsCode housekeeping activities such as daily merging, branch management and code refactoringAdheres to development process and practicesOn offer is a basic up to c30-40k + 5% bonus, also a range of benefits.
