The ideal candidate should be well versed in both researching and developing technical material; ensuring that all outputs coheres with a written brief and is faultless in both editorial style and content. Requirements Min of 3 years in a pharmaceutical medical writing role OR the candidate will have clearly shown proven ability within a related role The candidate is also required to have prior experience with relation to taking a project from the stage of briefing through to final delivery, showing minimum supervision necessary High level of verbal and written communication skills The candidate will be required to provide writing samples which exemplify their versatility within scientific writing and editing Experience with production and development of content for a variety of medical audiences The candidate will be coherent in the generation of materials to a high standard Adaptability, flexibility, resourcefulness alongside excellent time management and problem solving ability Conscientious eye for detail, moreover exploring the way in which the candidates quality control skills are second to none Form productive relationships within the team and also the clients A strong understanding of human pathophysiology and also human disease, with the ability to pick up quickly any new, diverse subject areas Attend off site meetings Computer literature Considered as a medical editorial expert Responsibilities Supply second-to-none writing services to all clients, ensuring extensive depth of medical knowledge and wide area of expertise Create and convey high quality education and communication initiatives Making sure that all of the clients strategic marketing objectives are met to a high standard Revolving all queries through liaising with the client team and ensure answers are sought in a timely manner Developing agendas To be actively part of the creation and development of personal plans for team members, ensuring that the goals/objectives are met Provide editorial training Applying analytical info on the market, product and therapy area to a client deliverable as appropriate Management of strategic publications, with regards to their design, development and implementation Proactively looks for organic growth within pre-existing accounts with the aim of developing new opportunities Management of projects from inception to completion
