Scrub Clinical Lead for TheatresFull TimeKentSalary up to £44,000Our client is actively looking for a Scrub Practitioner to take the next step in their career and lead. The post holder will provide professional and technical leadership, clinical advice and support for the scrub team:The key responsibilities are as listed below but are not exhaustive of the role:To provide clinical, professional and visible management of an identified team of practitioners within the department to deliver high quality patient centred care against Theatre activity and development plansResponsible for the safe day to day running of the team to deliver scheduled activity and efficiencies, collaborating closely with fellow Clinical Leads, providing cross cover and deputising for the Theatre Manager as requiredResponsible for delivering excellent governance, ensuring team members are legally compliant and adhering to all regulatory Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements and clinical standardsTo provide specialist scrub knowledge and support to the Theatre Manager and Matron/Clinical Operations Manager, including support for planning activity and improvements to pre-operative careTo undertake the Coordinator role within TheatresTo ensure service provision is delivered in line with cost efficiency adhering to budgetary controls, planned activity and regulatory complianceTo ensure all patient areas and Theatre environment is safe, fit for purpose and effectively maintainedTo act as a role model for staff and patient advocate, ensuring a positive patient experience for allTo maintain own clinical competencyThe successful candidate will be able to evidence significant experience within a scrub role and will be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and develop a team.
