Leadership:


Direct oversight of assigned clinical advisory board(s).
Implement strategic priorities and ensure the Advisory Board contributes to the success of the Group Purchasing Organisation.
Ensuring all Advisory Board Members understand and adhere to the Advisory Board Terms of Reference.
Actively engaging the assigned Advisory Board(s) to drive contracting strategies, determine clinical and technical requirements for the tender process, make contract award recommendations (and in some cases, contract award decisions), and support implementation of contracts.
Serving as a subject matter expert for all clinical disciplines related to the assigned Advisory Board.
Serving as a resource of scientifically valid information and advice on the best use of medical technologies.
Providing active clinical support and interaction with the procurement team, supply chain team.
Creating a cross functional interdependent team to support the success of the assigned Advisory Board(s).


Customer Services:


Interacting and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to better understand needs and challenges.
Defining the requirements of board members and coordinating the development and delivery of win-win solutions.
Developing a GPO work plan which fulfils the requirements of the advisory board members.
Building and maintaining close customer relationships, understanding customer key initiatives, and how those initiatives integrate or impact contracting initiatives.
Engaging various levels of stakeholders, including but not limited to: clinicians, physicians, technical staff, department heads, and supply chain executives, CEOs, COOs, and CFOs.
Providing educational opportunities to board members.



Financial:


Managing the Advisory Board budget.
Providing cost saving enhancement strategies.
Ongoing tracking and analysis of Advisory Board initiatives to ensure realisation of discounts.
Developing ‘growth plans’ which enable increases in spend going through GPO categories.



Project Management:


Applying the ‘7 Habits of Highly Effective People & Four Disciplines of Execution’ to direct multiple projects and tasks in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrating the ability to develop project documentation (project plans, risk & issue logs) for major projects.
Developing key milestones for projects to ensure outcomes are achieved.
Updating policies and procedures.
Demonstrating the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders.
