Responsibilities: As a Data Privacy Specialist you will ideally work in PRA's thriving Livingston office, or potentially home-based, with an established Data Management team who are fully dedicated to one of our largest global pharmaceutical clients; a company that bring innovative, effective treatments in multiple therapeutic areas. Where work life balance is not just achievable but also a priority. Working in our embedded model you would be representing the client and performing the activities on their behalf. This role is new, relatively unique and is part of a trailblazing new approach by our client to deal with Data Privacy and the data collected from their clinical trials and how this is shared in the public domain. The key responsibilities are: Working as part of a global team including Data Scientists in the United States and communicating and reporting of data and requirements and liaising closely with both Regulatory Affairs and Medical Writing teams Running custom built software created in-house by the clients team with a view to identifying anomalies and trends and anonymizing data (full training provided by client) Work with data sharing platforms and anonymizing data ahead of the clinical trial data being released into the public domain (linked to European Medicines Agency Policy 070) There will also be some flexibility to work from home 2 days per week, once established in the role. You are: Analytically minded, able to work independently, a quick learner, familiar with data and datasets Here at PRA we want our employees to succeed and ensure that they are set up for this success through constant training, development and support. To enable success in this position you will have: A Degree level education, preferably with Statistical, Analytical or Life Science qualifications Extensive experience in Statistics or Data Management from within the Pharmaceutical/CRO industry, ideally with experience of reviewing or working around a Clinical Study report Computer literacy, with an understanding/experience of working with data and datasets (R code would be advantageous) Your health, your family, your career, your money — the things that matter to you, matter to us.
