Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Swindon

At IMH, providing patient care is at the heart of what we do, and we don’t want to stop there. We currently have an Advanced Nurse Practitioner role available in our Eldene Surgery in Swindon, Wiltshire. The details are:


Annual salary of up to £50,000
NHS Pension
40 hours per week (days/hours flexible)
6 weeks' equivalent annual leave + bank holidays + 1 x weekly hours' annual CPD leave
Role available immediately


Practice Profile:


GMS Contract
Clinical skill mix consists of Salaried GPs, Nurse Practitioner, a Practice Nurse and HCAs
Patient list size 7800
GP Training Practice
Vision clinical system
Practice open hours Monday to Friday 8:30 - 18:00


Swindon is a large town in Wiltshire, often referred to as the Gateway to the Cotswolds, one of England’s areas of outstanding natural beauty, and also offers easy access to the world famous stone circles at Stonehenge and Avebury. Wiltshire is also home to the beautiful, historic towns of Salisbury, Chippenham and Devizes, which are only a short distance away. Swindon boasts fantastic transport links including regular trains to Central London in under 1 hour.

As one of our Advanced Nurse Practitioners you’ll have recent experience within a Primary Care setting, be adaptable, highly motivated and relish a challenge. You will be registered with the NMC, be an independent/supplementary nurse prescriber and hold an MSC/Post graduate diploma or equivalent. You will hold advanced assessment skills which include history taking, clinical examinations, diagnosis and initiating programmes of care.
