Job Summary This role is part of a team that works with a leading edge Cloud basedinfrastructure to administer and support and drive operationalarchitecture input throughout the full IT delivery and servicemanagement lifecycle from strategy through design, transition, operationand improvement. This includes: Defining operational architecture policies, standards and guidelines Defining service operation requirements Governing operational architecture design Assuring operational architecture delivery Supporting service transition and operation Driving service improvement Responsibilities and Duties This role is part of a team that works with a leading edge Cloud basedinfrastructure to administer and support and drive operationalarchitecture input throughout the full IT delivery and servicemanagement lifecycle from strategy through design, transition, operationand improvement. This includes: Defining operational architecture policies, standards and guidelines Defining service operation requirements Governing operational architecture design Assuring operational architecture delivery Supporting service transition and operation Driving service improvement To provide operational sign off at appropriate governance boards andinput to designs to ensure that solutions are operable and supportableto meet the customer experience vision. To act as the technical authority to CDG and consumers of CDG servicesand work alongside Service Operations from the start of the projectdevelopment lifecycle through to live running. To lead Service Transition and sign off to service in CDG Qualifications and Skills Qualifications: Academic qualification to degree level and professionaltraining/qualifications in analysis, architecture and design, along withdelivery management and service management are needed. Essential Technologies and Skills: Knowledge and experience of the full IT Delivery and Service Managementlifecycle across the full and complex large enterprise level ITlandscape of HMRC, including Infrastructures, Networks, Platforms, Dataand Applications. Understanding of the business and itsdrivers/objectives are also necessary to align IT with the business. Having the length and breadth of IT experience to enable judgements tobe applied and considered decisions to be made about the optimalinterception of emerging/evolving approaches and technologies such asDevOps and Cloud. Ability to work across a large organisation setting up capability thatserves the wider organisation Knowledge or experience of working in an Agile Environment and deliveryof Agile project Skills in analysis, architecture and design, along with deliverymanagement and service management. Able to understand the business andits drivers/objectives are also necessary to align IT with the business. Being able to keep up-to-date with, assimilate, adapt to and applyemerging/evolving approaches and technologies such as DevOps and Cloud.
