New and exciting interim opportunity to join our Marketing team as a Creative Artworker.

The Creative Artworker will sit within the creative studio and work closely with graphic designers, playing a key role in enhancing the design, visualisation and preparation of artwork for print.

The role will be responsible in working across both Gap and Gap Outlet and as a new role will help business growth.

What will your primary responsibilities be in the role of Creative Artworker?

This role calls for a hard-working, organised and truly multi-disciplined candidate who is able to work across a variety of creative and design projects. Able to work both independently and as part of a team, the right candidate must have thorough print knowledge and how to set up artwork for print (ie: litho, digital or large format), and offer an in-depth understanding of how to produce immaculate artwork for a variety of print materials and large format platforms. Projects will cover a range of touch points including packaging and graphics for retail stores, windows, marketing, pos, print collateral, etc.;

In essence, Artworkers must be a brand ambassador, ensuring that every single piece of artwork created offers exacting attention to detail and consideration. Confident at liaising with the Outlet, Marketing, CRM, Social, PR, Production and VM teams.

• Support all areas of the business with a range of artworking requests
• Accurately respond to briefs and develop / set up artwork that is ready for print
• Work to tight deadlines and across a number of briefs at one time
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the brand - and how it is applied across the business
• Offer new ideas, insights and techniques to the brand's communication output
• Exhibit a positive, can-do attitude + contributing and developing strong creative concepts at all times

Do what you love, love what you do?

• Proven commercial experience in an Artworker position
• Experience within a Fashion or Retail related studio environment would be ideal but not essential.
• Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator packages).

Desirable- Sketch up and other 3D visualiation packages
• Proven ability to generate and visualise concepts to a high standard
• Working knowledge of job management systems
• Excellent organisation and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Excellent at multi-tasking, effective time management skills + ability to manage / prioritise workload
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Good problem solving skills
