Chiltern is looking to recruit a Pharmacovigilance Associate office based in west London to be dedicated to one of our sponsors, a global pharmaceutical company. This position is permanent full time. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES To be responsible to the Senior Pharmacovigilance Manager for day-to-day ICSR processing of the reports directly from the UK and Ireland Ensure all the ICSR follow up activity processes actioned per Global SOPs/WIs Initial triage and assessment of ICSRs Prioritisation of individual case safety report processing, to identify those cases requiring to be processed to meet regulatory time lines Report adverse events associated with the use of the company’s marketed products reported to the Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information Departments as per company SOPs and local regulatory requirements Assists in ICSR compliance management, performing weekly/monthly data reconciliation Responsible person for archiving. Ensure that all the documents are stored according to company SOPs and WI or local conventions Supporting QMS and development of new procedures and writing SOPs To provide pharmacovigilance awareness training to all internal staff and external contractors as required Participate and contribute to internal departmental and company-wide meetings REQUIREMENTS Life Sciences degree At least 2 - 3 years experience in a similar role are required Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to understand various key stakeholders and customers to respond appropriately Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks within assigned objectives.
