We’re looking for a dynamic, responsive and flexible Clinical Lead (RGN), to join our team. Working alongside the current nursing team, you will take responsibility for the clinical management of the care home to deliver an outstanding nursing service to our residents. As well as ‘hands on’ patient care, the role is diverse and includes liaison with families, outside agencies and professionals; keeping accurate records and care plan audits and providing guidance, training, appraisals and mentorship to the nursing and care teams. You will be knowledgeable about the legislative requirements of the sector and in the absence of the Home Manager you will take the lead in the day to day running of the home. The contract is offered as full time, 40 hours per week, with flexibility required for weekend working (at least one weekend per month), occasional night visits and rostered 'on call' duties. Shifts will be organised on a rota basis between you and the management team.

Ideally, you’ll already be a Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager or a Senior Nurse (RGN) with acute clinical skills looking to take the next step into a higher level clinical leadership role. You'll have plenty of experience in older people’s care either in the public or private sector. You relate well to people at all levels, enjoying all aspects of nursing and managing teams. You’ll be someone who can inspire, motivate and lead by example. This role will suit someone who is highly organised, takes the initiative, enjoys a challenge, works hard and is motivated to make a positive difference to the lives of our residents. A fully flexible approach is required to cover a variety of shifts and to ensure the needs of the home and our residents are met.
