Medical Info Specialist, Sandoz, England. Job purpose: The purpose of the Medical Information Specialist role is to be responsible for the provision of high quality information to internal and external customers in response to medical, technical and pharmaceutical enquiries. To work as an integral part of the wider Medical TA teams on key activities across all stages of the product lifecycle (pre-launch, launch, maintenance and discontinuation / divestment). And to work with medical team on specific projects in a range of therapy areas. Key Responsibilities: • To develop high quality medical info service • This role requires collaborative approach to working w/external med info provider who provide primary responses to enquiries. • To provide high quality, accurate and balanced responses to medical, pharmaceutical and technical enquiries from all Sandoz customers (internal/external) on products across Sandoz portfolio. This should be done w/specific emphasis on key brands, in line w/ABPI Code of Practice, PIPA Guidelines and company compliance policy • Responsibility for oversight of and insurance that Quality &Safety aspects of enquiries are upheld. • Ensures all relevant enquiry quality checks are performed on a regular basis in line with Team, KPIs &relevant operating procedures. Highlights any issues / concerns / patterns to relevant stakeholders. • Develop key relationships w/global MI service and support medical team in global roll out of new systems. • Supports management of training of agency staff on products when product allocation changes. Responsible for liaison with agency regarding guidance document revision / discontinuation / implementation and general maintenance. • Acts as point of contact for the assignment and overview (and participation where necessary) of collaborative activities with other departments within Sandoz’s (e.g. Medical Affairs, Market Access, DRA, DS&E, Commercial Operations, Corporate Communications) About Sandoz: Sandoz, a global leader in the rapidly growing generics industry, is a company in which doctors, pharmacists and patients worldwide have placed their trust for 130 years.
