As an Applications Developer you will be required to perform a varietyof programming assignments requiring knowledge of establishedprogramming procedures and data processing requirements. You willmaintain and modify programmes and provide Software Development supportto a number of concurrent in-flight projects. Development of new applications and maintaining systems by monitoring,identifying and correcting software defects, logging the work by meansof proper documentation Test and develop programming modifications ensure Software testingand quality assurance Work as part of a team to provide estimates for tasks and thedevelopment of new features Analyse performance of programmes and take action to correctdeficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor. Liaise with internal business users to gain understanding of neededchanges or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions ofprogram intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion ofinternal checks and controls. Front end graphical user interface design Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation Integrate software with existing systems Maintain standards compliance Implement localization or globalizationof software Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attendingin-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, orindividually, to meet the needs of the project To be successful in this role youll have strong technical skillsgained whilst working as a Senior Developer within a softwaredevelopment environment. You will be a confident self-starter who canwork under minimum supervision and possess experience and a workingknowledge of the processes and procedures needed to support the fullsoftware development life cycle. You will have excellent communicationskills, both written and verbal, and enjoy working within a teamenvironment. You will also have experience working with geographicallydistributed project teams and external development partners. Youll be working across multiple projects across a variety oftechnologies so flexibility and personal organisation skills are a must. The successful candidate will possess the requisite skills within theirprimary skill set and not as part of a complimentary skill set. Your skills: Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD) MVC Web API DI/CI Applying design patterns such as Factory, Observer, etc SOLID Principles TDD using NUnit or similar Visual C# (at least version 4) JavaScript Core JavaScript Libraries such as JQuery, React.JS, AngularJS HTML XMLMS SQL T-SQL language. Entity Framework or other ORM and willingness to use EF.
