The Requirements We're looking for a Lead Business Analyst to join us in Edinburgh Join an established team moving to an agile way of working, and help to shape how the team develops You'll work in a highly collaborative environment, and gain exposure to different functions RBS decided to move to a centralised service for accessing the bank's data, and you'll support anyone who needs to access common sources of data and ensure consistency throughoutWhat you'll doWorking as part of a team, you'll accurately analyse, interpret and deliver data requirements to the Enterprise Data Hub. You'll work closely with stakeholders within the bank that raise data requirements to ensure they are fully understood and documented, and that the data attributes are clearly defined.Through the course of your work, you'll: Manage analysis activities for large projects or a number of smaller projects, where work priorities and specific requirements can be subject to change at short notice Deliver complete and accurate data requirements, and ensure they'reapproved and signed off by the relevant business areas Handle requests from multiple stakeholders, including the European Deposit Guarantee Scheme Work on a variety of regulatory projects, and help to identify the future of banking Use MI to investigate for marketing purposesThe skills you'll needTo succeed in this role you'll be an accomplished Data Analyst with experience as a Business Analyst. You'll be a problem solver, able to get to the root cause, and blend technical proficiency in interrogating systems and discussing issues with customers.We'll also look to you to bring: A proactive approach, willing to problem solve even when it's not directly in your remit An understanding of the complexity of systems, and the challenges of bringing data in from three different systems Previous data warehouse experience A technology focus, but also open to working across a number of areas as the team is moving into an agile environmentHow we'll reward youIn return, we offer a competitive salary plus 25% cash and benefit funding programme that can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
