We currently have an exciting opportunity in our IT department, workingas an IT Support Engineer to join our IT team in Chiswick, West London. This is a great opportunity for a Graduate to gain support anddevelopment in their first or second IT support role. You will maintainthe IT environment from desktop to associated infrastructure to enablean efficient and reliable service is delivered to all BSI Users. The role is responsible to provide a service to users that meets orexceeds the agreed KPIs and in-line with agreed department procedures (SLAs). To provide IT Support (covering Server, LAN, desktop, mobile device,Cisco Call Manager telephony, printing and all associated services) thatalso meets and exceeds the agreed KPIs and also meets/exceeds users expectations. To keep the above mentioned systems maintained and updated so that theycontinue to deliver and are fit for purpose. To liaise effectively with the First Level Help Desk (FLHD) so that allfaults are resolved in the most efficient manner and time includingupdating and closing calls in Smart IT. To escalate, own and follow through any escalated calls toInfrastructure/Network teams. To assist other areas of the business or other technical teams asdeemed appropriate. Demonstrably high level of customer services skills and team player focus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrably knowledge of using ITSM tools such as Smart IT & Remedy Professional IT qualifications to back-up above knowledge MCP, MCSE,MCSA, CCNA(desirable) Educated to HND or degree calibre or equivalent Sound working knowledge or preferably holder of ITIL ServiceManagement methodologies Previous demonstrable experience of working in a demanding customerfacing environment Experienced in IT Service Management (ITIL desirable) Strong experience of supporting PC technology Good experience of networking technology Strong experience of server technology Holds current driving licence and able to travel at short notice toother BSI locations or as manager deems pertinent Must be willing to work flexible hours according to business requirements What we offer We offer a highly competitive starting salary, 27 days annual leavewith the opportunity to increase this to 30 days, company-paid privatemedical insurance, an excellent company-contributed pension scheme, anda wide range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit yourlife-style.
