Senior Medical Writer / Principal Medical Writer - Medical Communications
Our client is a leading medical communications agency based in Surrey. Business growth leads them to seek a Senior / Principal Medical Writer to join their award winning editorial team to create a diverse range of communications materials for both print and digital formats. The main responsibilities in this role are to research, develop, and review high-quality written pharmaceutical marketing materials (no pubs) designed to meet client objectives for global and domestic accounts focused on different therapy areas. Responsibilities: Work on a broad range of medical communication materials Act as lead writer and client contact on nominated accounts Ensure that your own work and that of your team is of high quality and meets the client’s communication objectives KOL development and moderation/facilitation Maintain knowledge in relevant therapy areas and rapidly develop knowledge in new areas Review work for editorial accuracy (spelling, grammar, consistency), scientific accuracy (check data, facts, references) and messaging, in line with the product’s communication objectives provide constructive feedback Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Graduate in Life sciences (ideally biomedical), higher degree preferred Previous medical writing experience in a medical communications agency or equivalent environment Ability to mentor more junior members of the team Team player Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent attention to detail Excellent organisational and time management skills Competent in Word, PowerPoint, and reference management software This is a great opportunity to work for a leading agency in a fun and supportive environment.
