Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Family Planning/Sexual Health) – Poole

We currently have an Advanced Nurse Practitioner role available in our Longfleet House Surgery in Poole. The details are:

Annual salary of up to £55,000
Joining bonus of up to £5000
NHS Pension
Full-time hours available
6 weeks' equivalent annual leave + bank holidays
1 weeks’ equivalent study leave
IMH work in partnership with RCNi to offer nurses unlimited annual training, development and revalidation across 250 modules online
Role available immediately

Practice Profile:

GMS Contract
The practice is located centrally in Poole and is a few doors away from Poole General Hospital
Clinical skill mix consists of: GP Partners, Salaried General Practitioners, a Practice Nurse, a Pharmacist, an ANP and a HCA
Patient list size: 4200​
Staff parking at the rear of the practice
SystmOne clinical system
Practice opening hours: Monday 8:00 to 20:00, Tuesday to Friday 8:00 to 18:30

Our Longfleet practice is a friendly practice with a family feel. Housed in a modern building with emphasis on patient care and being part of a team, it provides an attractive place to work. Poole is a coastal town, port and tourist destination in the county of Dorset on the South Coast of England. It situated beside a large natural harbour, on the shores of the English Channel. Poole is positioned on a very popular stretch of coastline, with the resort of Bournemouth to the east, Studland to the south and the Jurassic coast to the southwest.

As one of our Advanced Nurse Practitioners you’ll have recent experience within a Primary Care setting, be adaptable, highly motivated and relish a challenge. You will be registered with the NMC, be an independent/supplementary nurse prescriber and hold an MSc/Post graduate diploma or equivalent. You will hold advanced assessment skills which include history taking, clinical examinations, diagnosis and initiating programmes of care.
