Our client is an international healthcare communications agency working across the full marketing mix from their office in Central London. Due to the continued growth and expansion of their business they are now seeking an experienced healthcare PR professional to join their team. The Account Manager (AM) holds responsibility for account management and client relations. The AM is expected to develop relationships with clients, enabling them to be seen as trusted advisors. With support from other team members, the AM will handle a wide range of assignments and is accountable for ensuring that all project deliverables meet the client’s expectations and are provided on time and on budget. Responsibilities: Ensure that clients’ needs and expectations are understood and managed Work with clients to refine a brief Establish client service objectives and create a plan to fulfil these objectives Lead formal client meetings and brainstorms with appropriate support Ensure full understanding of the scientific aspects of programmes by self and team members as necessary Research and write sophisticated materials Plan creative events and programmes and supervise their implementation Ensure quality control for finished product delivery Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good life science or communications degree Significant work experience, in healthcare public relations gained in an agency environment Strong network of contacts in public relations or relevant field Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to set and manage budgets, as well as prepare invoices Ability to successfully manage client–consultant relationships Ability to manage day-to-day accounts, to budget development and through to invoicing, ensuring timely delivery to client deadlines Ability to manage relationships with suppliers and partners on the company and clients’ behalf Strong organisational skills, including ability to prioritise and balance multiple priorities and demands Industry knowledge and familiarity with industry issues Team player This is a great opportunity to join a very successful company who are continuing to grow.
