Account Director - Leadership
Our client is an international medical communications agency. They are currently looking for an Account Director to lead a team and a new office site in Cheshire. This is a great chance for an experienced Account Director to take on further management responsibilities and essentially lead their own business unit. Responsibilities: Lead and motivate your team with an emphasis on professional development and to ensure smooth running of accounts Review key deliverables for strategic alignment with client expectations and product strategy Create effective partnerships, rather than vendor relationships, with clients Lead development of proposals/pitches on existing accounts Regular review meetings with client to review status (performance and satisfaction) and prospectively plan future work Develop financial account plan, including forecasts and maintain responsibility for account recovery rates Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Life science degree Prior experience of running pharmaceutical marketing accounts gained in a medical communications agency or pharmaceutical environment Experience of running an account team Excellent commercial awareness and customer focus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good organisation and planning abilities Ability to lead and work as part of a team You will be able to build your own team in order to fully resource assigned accounts and drive strategic elements of accounts, including communication and publication plans. While proactively identifying account opportunities and making recommendations, you will also be able to advise on budget priorities and budget spend.
