Staff Nurse required in Southport, up to £32k per annum, Days & Nights available - Full or Part time

Elderly Care including Nursing, Respite, Dementia & Residential

Job Setting
This exceptional care home in Southport has been specifically designed to provide high-quality residential, nursing and respite care to the elderly, including those individuals living with dementia including Alzheimer`s disease. You will have excellent clinical skills and a naturally caring approach.

The home has been purpose built to include specialist dementia care including a small community for residents with dementia to help them reminisce. Features such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low risk walkways and activity kitchens also enable people to engage in life`s everyday simple tasks and pleasures

Staff Nurse Skills and responsibilities
Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
Wound management
Administering oxygen
Putting together treatment plans
Overseeing a team of care assistants
Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team
