Client Information:
Our client has leading private hospitals all over the UK and worldwide. We are currently recruiting for one of their hospitals based in Birmingham. The hospital itself is located in beautiful 3.5 acre private grounds just west of Birmingham city centre, with excellent access to the city via public transport. They offer a wide range of services including Orthopaedic Surgery, General Surgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, Cosmetics, Gynaecology, Cosmetic, Urology and ENT.

The hospital currently boast a very sophisticated Theatre department with 2 Theatres equipped with Lamiar air flow and 34 modern inpatient bedrooms, all en-suite

Opportunities

We are currently looking to recruit a Scrub Nurse/Practitioner to work at the hospital.

Working alongside the Theatre Manager you will be responsible for assessing, planning and implementing the right standards of care to all patients who are undergoing surgical procedures. Your day to day will involve preparing the equipment and instruments according to the needs of the patient and the surgeon's specifications, updating the surgeon's preference cards, ensuring all equipment is checked prior to use, reporting any faults immediately and working as part of a cohesive team. You may also be assigned other ad hoc duties as required by senior members of staff.
To be considered for this role you will have at least 1-year experience working as a scrub nurse
And will be competent in scrubbing across multiple specialties. Part of the role involves being able to adapt easily to a new environment and team and be a good team player. You will have an innate attention to detail and a strong ability to work well under pressure. Consider the type of role excellent communication skills are required along with being computer literate.
