Position overview: PRA's European Biostatistics team has some exciting growth plans for 2018, therefore we are looking for additional Principal Biostatisticians to join our team. The Biostatistics team are consistently focussed on identifying and retaining industry leading talent. Using a supportive and engaged management style they will provide a focus for staff development alongside an effective work/life balance. Principal Biostatistician role summary: Developing innovative statistical strategies in complex new areas Interacting with project teams and sponsors including: Preparation of bid proposals and marketing presentations Statistical consulting Representing sponsors regarding statistical issues at regulatory meetings Serving as an unblinded Biostatistician on Data Monitoring Committees Act as Lead Biostatistician for a moderately complex regulatory submission Mentoring all levels of Biostatistics personnel You are: MSc qualified Statistician, project delivery focused and have excellent communication skills Here at PRA we want our employees to succeed and ensure that they are set up for this success through continued training, development and support. To be successful in this position you will have: MSc or PhD in Medical Statistics or Biostatistics with demonstrated expertise in multiple statistical areas. You will have extensive statistical experience working within a CRO and or the pharmaceutical industry. The ability to contribute your statistical expertise to the design, analysis and reporting of global clinical studies. The ability to plan, supervise, implement and monitor the statistical process for numerous and complex clinical trials Excellent communication skills and experience of successful sponsor interactions in leading projects or programs of studies, business development and consultancy with sponsors.
