Novartis is currently building a brand new team within our cardio franchise and we need a talented leader to manage a team of Community Account Managers across target Primary care localities. This is the opportunity to work on a blockbuster product that could transform the future course of heart failure in the UK! Job purpose: •Lead and manage team of Community Account Managers across target Primary care localities within defined geography •Optimise Key performance indicators across Primary Care •Be accountable for the implementation and delivery of a business plan which ensures best outcomes for Novartis, our customer and patients across Primary care •Accountable for the optimisation of allocated team and financial resources to deliver on objectives •Establish positive and productive working relations with external customers in order to ensure Novartis is seen to be supporting our vision of Winning for Patients Key Responsibilities: •Leadership and line management responsibility for the Community Account Managers •Working with aligned head office teams (Market Access, Marketing & Medical) and field stakeholders, to ensure shared learning and application of appropriate technical expertise in support of the business plan •Implementation of a cross-functional Business Plan, informed by Local Health Economy plans, which maximises the business potential across Primary care and delivers overall financial objectives including allocation of people and financial resource •To deliver high quality KPIs as per regional and national goals. •To critically analyse, understand short and long-term trends across Primary care and specifically within key localities in order to identify growth opportunities, adapt strategy/tactics, and allocate resources •To recruit, onboard, engage, motivate, develop and coach the Community Account Managers team to realise their maximum performance and potential. •To leverage the team’s knowledge, (both functional and cross-functional) skill-set and competencies to deliver the right solution to the right patient •To ensure compliance in all interactions throughout the organization About Novartis: Our mission is to care and cure; We want to discover, develop and successfully market innovative products to prevent and cure diseases, to ease suffering and to enhance the quality of life.
