Sales & Business Planning Manager Position Purpose The role is responsible for implementing and sustaining an effective integrated sales and business planning process within the Sandoz UK organization providing the business with a clear understanding of any imbalance between demand plan and supply capability. Manage associated risks and opportunities. Major Accountabilities • Lead implementation of a monthly Sales & Business Planning (S&BP) cycle across relevant business functions, aligning the local process with global architecture (SOP-7041201, GOP S&BP for country organizations) • Develop and deliver a comprehensive training package for all key stakeholders to ensure effective process positioning and education • Develop KPI’s to measure process adoption and value creation • Prepare data sets and chair the process step - ‘Management Business Review’ monthly, documenting key assumptions, risks and opportunities as identified through the S&BP cycle • Track agreed action plan(s) to mitigate risks or realize opportunities • Sustain adoption of the S&BP cycle through continuous improvement methodology • Other – Alliance/Vendor/Contract Management. Establish a PMO to manage onboarding of new third party vendors as identified by the BD&L process • Other - Deputize for Head of Supply Chain Operations Key Performance Indicators • Sales & Business Planning cycle implemented in line with Gap Assessment and Action Plan (dated Nov.2017) • Delivery of service and process KPI’s • Sales and Op Inc. targets achieved / exceeded • Sales and Business Planning analysis / reports issued to agreed deadlines • Project management & execution #LI-SAN Minimum requirements • Educated to degree level; MBA desirable • Professional Supply Chain qualification (APICS, CIPS) desirable English • Strategic negotiation • Relationship management • Market insights / analytics • Strong knowledge of Operations or Supply Chain Management • Exposure to P&L / financial management • Prior involvement establishing or inputting into an integrated Sales & Business Planning process
