Our client has leading private hospitals all over the UK and worldwide. We are currently recruiting for one of their hospitals based in Birmingham. The hospital itself is located in beautiful 3.5 acre private grounds just west of Birmingham city centre, with excellent access to the city via public transport. They offer a wide range of services including Orthopaedic Surgery, General Surgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, Cosmetics, Gynaecology, Cosmetic, Urology and ENT.
The hospital currently boast a very sophisticated Theatre department with 2 Theatres equipped with Lamiar air flow and 34 modern inpatient bedrooms, all en-suite
We are currently looking to recruit some Staff Nurses to work in pre-assessment department of the hospital located in Birmingham.
Working alongside the Senior Staff Nurses in the unit you will be responsible for ensuring the right standard of care is provided to all patients at all time and that they received a comprehensive and quality service. You will have an innate ability to quickly identify any pre surgery concerns or possible complications that could arise and work to ensure that patients are at optimum health when admitted for surgery. Youi will call out these assessments on a daily basis either face to face of over the phone ensuring all required documentation is completed. You will work closely with other departments within the hospital i.e admissions to ensure that all aspects of the patients surgery and admission to hospital is adequately organised. You will also ensure that the patient is fully briefed on every aspect of their hospital admission.
To be considered for this role you will have at least one years' experience working in a surgical setting or pre-assessment role. You will be highly organised with a strong attention to detail and have the ability to work well under pressure. As part of this role involves liaising with various departments across the hospital you will be a good team player who has the ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues.
